How To Fix Auto-Detect Setting on your Browser with Webroot?

Sometimes users face issues with the Auto-Detect setting on your Browser.  To resolve this issue, you should turned off the Proxy, if you are not using it and also use Webroot antivirus through www.webroot.com/safe to make your device malware free. Method to Fix Auto-Detect Setting on Your Browser:

1. Turn off Automatically Detect Settings Option:

For this, you should navigate to Start and then select Settings. After this, you need to tap on Network & Internet. Then, you have to select Proxy from the left side of the screen. Now under Automatic proxy setup, you should disable the Automatically detect settings option. Here under Manual proxy setup, you have to disable Use a proxy server option. Lastly, you need to Restart your PC.

2. Protect Your PC with Webroot Antivirus:

You should protect your PC from all kind of malware and viruses. It is highly recommended, you should install Webroot antivirus in your gadgets through webroot.com/safe  if you want your computer to work properly without any problem.It will quickly blocks the incoming threats and monitors your system for suspicious activity. 3. Check Permissions on Internet Settings in Registry:

You have to press Windows key + R altogether and then type regedit and press enter key. After this, you need to visit to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings

Then, you have to right-click on Internet Settings and then select Permissions. At last, you should check that your user profile has full control.

4. Reset Network Functions:

For this, you should visit to the Search bar and then type Command Prompt. Then, you need to tap on Run as administrator. Now, you should type netsh winsock reset and then hit on Enter Key. This command will reset network functions of your Computer system like clear out old connection data or to get a new IP address for your router. At last, you must Restart your PC.

5. Reset Network Settings:

You should open Settings and then select Network & Internet option. After this, in the Status tab you will locate Network reset which is located at the bottom of the computer screen. This method will delete all network information from your computer system. Here, you need to tap on Reset now option. When the process complete, you should restart your PC.

6. Run the Troubleshooter:

First, you should open Settings option and then visit to the Update & Security section. Now, you need to select Troubleshoot. At this point, you should tap on Additional troubleshooters. Here, you should select Network Adapter from the list and then tap on Run the troubleshooter. At last, you need to follow the on-screen instructions to end the process.
